The 20/21 Winter/Spring Campaign for NHS 24 was more important than ever to reduce the strain on the NHS during the Covid pandemic.
For several years, NHS 24 have run campaigns around Festive and Easter periods to remind people how to prepare to stay healthy.
This year’s campaign needed to communicate the importance of being properly prepared when it comes to looking after your own health (and anyone in your care) by:
• Making sure you have your repeat prescriptions ready
• Making sure you’ve got cold and flu remedies at home
• Using your local pharmacist for advice
• Turning to the self-help guides on NHS Inform
Our concept was inspired by everyone clapping for the NHS during Covid. We turned this around and showed NHS staff clapping for the public, encouraging them to ‘Show you care. Prepare’.
The multi-media campaign covered a 30” TV ad, radio, OOH and in pharmacy posters plus digital and social media advertising.
