Highland Park Midwinter Social Experiential

Highland Park Single Malt Scotch Whisky is a popular brand amongst whisky drinkers, but less so among whisky beginners. To recruit this new audience we created an immersive experience to mark the winter solstice, transporting them to Orkney and showcasing our Viking Soul positioning.
We came up with an exciting event idea deeply rooted in Highland Park’s Nordic traditions. Location would prove key to the events’ success. East London, with its young and vibrant culture, was ideal spot for activation and engaging the on trade.
On November 24th - 25th 2016, we whisked guests into the Old Truman Brewery down London’s famous Brick Lane, for a night of music, whisky tastings and street food around the fire pit – with interactive screen printing and a bespoke photo booth (the “photo bothy”) to fire things up further.
I was involved in the design and creation of all aspects of this event: the main identity, printed collateral including flyers, posters and vinyls, decorating the venue and working with a production team to create bespoke props and projections.
