M&S Bank Lifestyle Shoot
Art Direction
To freshen up their customer comms, M&S needed a new ‘bank’ of lifestyle and still life imagery…
Because M&S Bank target customers multiple times, often with similar messaging, we were briefed to create a new suite of hard-working ‘transactional style’ imagery to use across various comms, on and offline, going forward.
I art directed the three day shoot in Solihull. We covered in-store Credit Card and Rewards spending, at home Digital Banking, and Travel Money still life. This involved choosing the best locations, styling models and scenes and working alongside photographer, Nick Callaghan, to make sure we covered all the scenarios and got all the lovely shots we were after.
The photography, although hard-working and in some cases fairly functional, has the same aspirational quality of previously commissioned brand photography – and sits alongside this harmoniously.
